Bead 'n' Button Bracelets

materials needed:
beads
buttons
elastic thread
permanent marker

Vary the types and colors of beads and buttons to create unique jewelry for any age. Use antique buttons or vary the types and colors of the buttons and beads for a whole different look.

Cut a length of aprox. 12" of clear elastic thread. String a button onto the thread and knot at one end. This button is not used in the final bracelet, it

simply helps in the assembly on the beads. Mark the other end of the thread with permanent marker to aid in seeing the end. Thread 5 beads on the thread and add a button, repeat until the bracelet has the look and length desired. Finish bracelet by knotting thread tightly and trimming ends of thread.

Bathtub Finger Paints

Liquid soap
Food coloring

These finger paints are great for the bathtub. Draw on the tile or even on yourself. Don't worry everything washes off clean. Pour liquid soap into squeeze bottles. (Ketchup bottles work well) Add food coloring. Make a few different colors for added fun.
